TBSS - Najuq

More of The Tales of Ba Sing Se.
So yeah... since people seem to like little Najuq, I decided I'll start doing his ref sheet first ^^

Name: Najuq, his surname is unknown.

Age: 4.

Gender: Male.

Appearance:
You can see it in the picture. Dark skin, big blue eyes, puffy cheeks, roundy eyebrows... and smiles not often in his face, sadly. He doesn't have many special characteristics, I just wanted to keep him Water Tribe-ish. So that's it.

Weapon:
He uses no weapon, unless water is considered a weapon, but that's obviously explained right below.

Special Ability:
He is a waterbender from the Water Tribe in the North, so he can control water and, that way, ice. To be such a little kid, his skills are way developed; he has a great potential, but he doesn't really use it often, so it pretty surprises people when he does.

Personality:
-Good qualities: he's really obedient; his behaviour is good and he will do whatever you tell him to do. He has a big patience and a big sense of observation. He appreciates every little thing and lacks of avarice and selfishness.
-Flaws: He's too shy. He barely speaks, he prefers pointing at stuff instead. He's really pigheaded when it's about meeting new people: he will hide and won't want to be seen, and if it's about any member of the Fire Nation, he will get even more exhausting.

Different selves:
There's the shy Najuq, the happy, home-longing Najuq and the bender Najuq. One is barely visible, the other one is clingy and warm and, the last one, is pretty rare and weird to see. Basically because it doesn't suit his self.

Favorite foods/drinks: He enjoys any kind of food and will never complain, probably because, in a war, you learn that hunger is hunger and no matters what you get to eat.

Least favorite foods/drinks: He will never reject any kind of food, mostly because the voice of his mother had always told him that rejecting any food would be as bad as a crime in those days.

Habits (the good, the bad, and the neutral):
Not speaking, playing with little, wooden toys... and picking between his toes xD

Hobbies, likes, and dislikes:
He likes playing, building sand castles with tunnels and high towers... he enjoys being close to those he knows he can trust, and listening to them. He's a fan of any kind of story, although he prefers the ones about brave heroes and enchanted forests. Even if he's a waterbender, he's always very hesitant about taking baths.

Common words/phrases used:
As I said, he barely speaks. He's more of an expressive person through gestures and corporal expression, but words are not his strong point. The words he uses the most is "No, no, no, no", "Thank you", "I want to come with you" or "Where are we going?". The rest is mostly unspoken stuff.

Swear words:
He never. Ever. Ever. Swears.

Fears:
Any person from the Fire Nation. They took his family away and, well, they are the big, bad guys in the war. So he has some kind of firebenderphobia. He doesn't want to lose anyone else now that he's found people he's come to love again. He fears being alone, and sharp weapons, and big animals. And horror stories. And strangers.

Morals:
Fire Nation = Bad, very bad. And mother said throwing food was just like a crime. So never do it. And if you see someone crying, go give them a hug.

Clothing:
Puffy stuff. Puffy, even if it's really hot. Always puffy. And blueish, if possible.

Seen by other characters as:
It depends. Some don't even see him, because he's an invisible kid for strangers, since he hides behind people. But from the main group he's in, Sangmu sees him as an adopted kid, Benjiro as a little brother, Keoni as "silent kiddo who needs to have more fun" and Jae-Hwa sees him as "oh my god a kid what do I do?!"

Background:
As I said, he's a refugee in Ba Sing Se. He lost his parents during the war, running away from their village to get to the safer, Earth Kingdom capital, but the only one who got there was him (joining other refugees). He has been hiding for long, and that's what probably made him so silent: whatever sound he did, he could be caught. He's very clingy with the people who love because he was this way with his parents too. Some part of him, mostly his moral side, has maybe grown too fast because of the times he's been through, and even if he's a kid, he'll understand that refugees must share, that people die and never come back, and that one must do whatever it takes to survive.
