After drawing Keoni... here you have his sister Jae-Hwa!

Name: Jae-Hwa Kwan

Age: 17

Gender: Female.

Appearance:
You can see her in the picture: tanned skin, longish, dark-brown hair, green eyes; a bit muscular, strong complexion, fit. A scar crosses her face (she got that when she was 6... children, don't play with knives).

Weapon:
Lots of them. Lots. Any kind of pointy, sharp thing will do: knives, kunais, kusari gamas, shurikens, tantos and even bos (wooden stick)... but her fave weapons are sais.

Special Ability:
She's agile and quick. She has great reaction skills and thinks fast. And she can hide barely everything she wants without being discovered (that's how she carries her weapons).

Personality:
-Good qualities: she's pretty intelligent and knows how to see through people; she's loyal and brave, and she'll never let you down. Honor is a very important thing to her. Even though she's such an iron-girl and tries to hide it, she's pretty sensible: she appreciates art, music and pretty things. But of course if you catch her dancing or singing she'll just go red and run away, angry.
-Flaws: She has a VEEEEEERY STRONG temper. A very, very strong temper, I repeat. Don't even try waking her up early in the morning because, if she's in a bad mood, she'll yell at you and make the Earth tremble, while you run away of her assortment of weapons thrown at you. She can be very rude. She doesn't like to get soppy and cheesy people make her angry. Her affective way is hitting you with love, she's really not good at expressing her love. Stubborn to death. And her pride... well, just like her brother's.

Different selves:
The fighter one; balanced, serious, intelligent and agile; merciless and cold-headed.
The sister; she's not a loving sister, but she really cares about her twin brother and would do anything for him. Deep conversations and warm smiles are usual in this self. This is also the sensible one: she can express herself the way she wants, not being ashamed of doing it.
The creeped-out self: not in battle. Just when she finds herself in situations like babysitting and stuff like that.


Favorite foods/drinks: Algae and chicken. And bitter things. Loves tea.

Least favorite foods/drinks: Spicey food. It makes her sick. And octopus.

Habits (the good, the bad, and the neutral):
Sharpening her weapons, sleeping lots, aiming at stuff with knives. Staring at people.

Hobbies, likes, and dislikes:
Her hobbies are pretty simple: collecting pointy weapons and improving her aim and fighting skills. For her it's not just a violent thing, but an art, and sees the beauty in it as if it was a dance.
She doesn't like babies nor kids; she is terrified of dealing with them. Besides they're noisy, and dirty, and they seem too fragile.
She enjoys peace and silence.

Common words/phrases used:
"Shut the fuck up or I'll give you a pretty scar like mine", or "I hope this is important; else..."

Swear words:
She swears lots. She's really rude when talking, but she doesn't really mind; but of course, she won't do it in front of any elder member of her family. The word "fuck" is her most used one, but well, she's open to all sorts of swear words.

Fears:
That people think she's weak and that she cannot take care of herself. Losing home or any loved one. Children, babies. Puppies.

Morals:
Just like her brother: family and honor. Not giving up on anything, never losing a fight and protecting the ones you love with your life, whatever it takes to do it. Weak girls are silly and have no place in a war.

Clothing:
Most people will see her and think she belongs to the Fire Nation, basically because she likes to wear red colors. She's actually pissed about that, but she doesn't care, she'll still keep wearing them. Jae-Hwa loves to wear baggy sleeves and dresses where she can hide her weapons, and also a bit of an armour vest, as you see. She doesn't wear green often, even though it's the color of her Kingdom.

Seen by other characters as:
Most people see her as a dragon you must not piss off. And they're right. She's seen as a strong woman, iron-willed and smart. Some strangers see her as dangerous and hostile.
Her brother Keoni sees her as the sister she is; he knows her and knows how soft she can be in her very core, and even if they argue most of the time, they wouldn't be able to live without each other.

Background:
Just like Keoni, she was born in Omashu, in a upper-class family. Their family had money and she had a nice childhood, with all she could dream of. Even though she fought her mother many times because she didn't want her playing around with knives, Jae-Hwa never stopped doing it. Her brother was an earthbender, but she wasn't, and she wanted to be just as strong as he would become in the future. She's never wanted to be a weak person, and she tries her best not to. When the Fire Nation was about to invade Omashu, their parents sent them to Ba Sing Se to spend a time with their uncle and aunt, to keep them safer, and promising they would go there too after some time. She didn't want to leave, but they insisted and left them no option. When they got to Ba Sing Se, everything had changed. People had disappeared and it seemed like there were no news of war. Their family there was missing, and Keoni and Jae-Hwa suspect they are under arrest somewhere, though they don't know anything more. They won't give up on finding them.
