Hoy las raíces me duelen…
Siempre supe que no estaban sanas.
Los demás ven el árbol, no entienden
que bajo este tronco no hay nada.
Y la nada es lo que más me aterra.
Tener tanta nada bajo tanta tierra.

ROOTS
My roots are hurting today,
for I always knew they weren't okay.
The rest see the tree, ignoring
that beneath this trunk, there's nothing.
And this nothing does scare me to death...
Having so much nothing under so much earth.
